Welcome to the Comic Creator Zone at Bury BID Comic Con — the ultimate destination for comic lovers, creative minds, and curious fans of all ages.
This zone celebrates the art, storytelling, and creativity behind comics and illustration. Whether you’re an aspiring artist, a dedicated collector, or simply love great characters and imaginative worlds, this is a space to explore, learn, and be inspired.
What to Expect
Step inside and discover a full programme of creative activity throughout the day, including interactive sessions, live discussions, and opportunities to meet people working in the comic and creative industries.

- Angoulême Comic Festival – Live Drawing Sessions
Representatives from The Festival international de la bande dessinée d’Angoulême, more commonly known as FIBD – one of the world’s most celebrated comic festivals – will deliver live drawing sessions and invite visitors to explore comic art in a relaxed and creative environment. - Comic Con – Pen, Paper, Pose – 1pm – 3pm
Popular live drawing sessions giving visitors the chance to practise sketching from live poses. We hope to run two sessions during the day, subject to scheduling and availability.

Places are limited, so advance booking is essential. Please email Lee and Alison at twocrows.artstudio@gmail.com to reserve your spot. Remember, bookings are limited to a maximum of 4 tickets per request. - Roch Valley Radio – Live from the Event

Additional Quiet Zone
For visitors who prefer a calmer environment, an additional Quiet Zone will be available within the venue – offering a relaxed space to step away from the crowds while still enjoying the creative atmosphere.

The Comic Creator Zone is all about celebrating imagination and encouraging creativity. Chat with creators, watch art come to life, take part in workshops, and discover the stories behind the comics you love.
