Visit Bury Art Museum & Sculpture Centre to learn about the rich history of Bury and the surrounding area. The collections and exhibitions are supported by a range of activities and events. Home to Bury Art Shop and Tina’s Tea Room. All housed in a distinctive Edwardian building that is a work of art in itself.

We are located on Moss Street, a short walk from Bury Metrolink and Bus station, opposite the Lancashire Fusilier Museum and Tourist Information. The museum is fully wheelchair accessible, an access ramp is available to the right of the main gallery entrance on Moss Street. There is lift access to all floors.

Bury Art Museum does not have a parking area, however there is metered, short stay street parking on the roads surrounding the building and larger pay and display car parks within a ten minute walk.

Tina’s Tea Room at Bury Art Museum
Set on the central Ring Balcony, Tina’s Tea Room’s is the perfect setting to enjoy a tea, coffee and a cake. Pop by this hidden gem of Bury for freshly prepared soup, sandwiches and salads paired with wonderfully quirky and vintage tea sets. Book beforehand and treat yourself to a traditional Afternoon Tea*, or choose something a little different from the Gentleman’s Tea menu – doorstopper sandwiches, savoury snacks and a wedge of cake. High chairs and children’s menus are also available.

Education and Schools
Bury Art Museum offers an exciting range of programmes, some offered in partnership with other local museums, to provide an interesting and memorable educational day trip for education groups and schools. These sessions can be tailored to fit the needs and interests of your group. Teachers and organisers are invited to contact the museum to arrange a pre-visit to assist with planning and risk assessments, and to discuss any access or learning requirements.
