Bury, July 2025 – The Rock is marking its birthday in style this month, offering up a vibrant mix of live music, family fun and special promotions. But what’s caught everyone’s attention lately is the sweet addition to its venue: Hotel Chocolat is opening a luxe Velvetiser café and concept store right in the heart of the centre.
Hot Chocolate Heaven Arrives at The Rock
From Sunday 13 July, visitors can step into the new space offering 18 signature hot chocolate options – served hot, iced, or as luxurious choc-shakes—with dairy or plant-based milks and all the toppings you can imagine.
The 33-seat café also stocks amore—Hotel Chocolat’s premium chocolates, pralines, patisseries, and even alcohol-infused treats.

“We’re delighted to welcome Hotel Chocolat to The Rock. With its reputation for luxurious treats and its innovative Velvetiser café concept, we’re confident this new addition will be a firm favourite among our shoppers.”
To celebrate the opening, there’ll be surprise delights on launch day plus 20% off Velvetiser café orders for VIP.ME members—a free loyalty club—adding yet more sparkle to the festivities.
