Organised by Bury BID in partnership with Bury Market and Bury Council, the Bury BID Food & Drink Festival is a free, town centre celebration of food, drink, and local culture.
Building on the success of last year’s festival, which welcomed thousands of visitors into the town centre, 2026 returns bigger in spirit — showcasing the very best of Bury’s hospitality scene, independent traders, and world-famous market.
This is Bury at its best: vibrant streets, incredible local flavour, and a buzzing atmosphere that brings together residents, visitors, traders, and hospitality businesses across the town centre.
Expect a full weekend of food, drink, and entertainment starting Friday evening with Beers and Bands on Bank Street, featuring Fleetwood Mad, street food from Fratelli, and a lively bar to kickstart the festival weekend.
Across Saturday and Sunday, explore:
- A huge range of street food and international flavours
- Artisan traders around The Old Rock and town centre streets
- A dedicated Hong Kong Market in Kay Gardens
- Live acoustic performances on The Rock from emerging artists supported by The Met, performing across the weekend
- And of course, Bury’s world-famous, award-winning Market
Bury’s hospitality venues will be part of the festival atmosphere throughout the weekend, helping to create a vibrant town centre experience for visitors to enjoy — with plenty to discover as you explore the town.
Full programme details can be found here — plan your foodie weekend for Friday 24 – Sunday 26 July 2026.
