Join us for this new event, for those that appreciate smaller locomotives.
It’s your chance to ride up and down the East Lancs Railway, hauled by our fleet of our smaller steam and heritage diesel engines. These small but perfectly-formed locomotives, some of which are built for stamina rather than speed, are often found shunting around the station at Bury. This is a rare chance to ride behind these charismatic power-houses.
