Facilitated by Bolton Deaf Society and organised and funded by Bury BID

Join us for an engaging and informative Deaf Awareness Training session, led by an experienced Deaf advocate. This course is designed for anyone looking to better understand the Deaf community, communication tips, and British Sign Language (BSL) basics—all delivered with a sprinkle of humour!

What you’ll learn:

• Different hearing levels and types of deafness

• Deaf culture and a touch of history

• Practical communication strategies

• An introduction to basic BSL

Whether you work with the public, in a team, or simply want to expand your knowledge, this course offers a friendly and insightful experience for all.
