Afternoon Tea - East Lancashire Railway

What better way to enjoy a traditional Afternoon Tea than being hauled along the beautiful countryside by a heritage steam locomotive?

Step on board East Lancashire Railway’s beautifully restored pullman carriages, settle into your luxurious surroundings and indulge your tastebuds into this quintessential and elegant British timepiece!

Expect a selection of finger sandwiches along with home-made scones and a selection of patisserie, freshly prepared by our local chefs at Delicious catering and accompanied by unlimited tea and coffee. With your own personal waiter/waitress for the afternoon you can relax knowing every aspect of your experience will be catered for to the highest standards.

Boarding commences 12pm. You will be welcomed and advised of your table number and carriage. The train departs 12:30pm. The journey lasts approximately 1.5 hours.

The dress code is casual.

Please note when making your booking, dietary requirements of Vegetarian and Gluten Free can be selected from the ticket option menu using drop down selection button. Please note, we are unable to cater for diabetic, dairy free and vegan on our afternoon tea services.
