Volunteers Needed for the Bury BID 10K 2026

Help make race day a success on Sunday 20 September

The countdown to the Bury BID 10K 2026 is on, and the event team are looking for individuals and groups to join them as volunteers on race day.

Taking place on Sunday 20 September 2026, the Bury BID 10K will bring runners and supporters into the town centre for a fantastic day of running, community spirit and fundraising for local charities.

Volunteers play an important role in helping the event run smoothly and creating a great experience for everyone taking part.

Volunteer roles available

There are a number of ways to get involved, including:

• Route Marshals – helping to support runners and keep the course safe.
• Finish Processing – helping runners as they cross the finish line.
• Baggage Team – supporting the baggage service for participants.
• Race Office Support – helping the event team with race-day administration.

Volunteer benefits

As well as being part of a fantastic community event, volunteers will receive:

🎟️ Free race entry into another Run For All event, excluding marathons.

🎁 A goody bag including a snack and drink on the day.

❤️ The opportunity to support a major community event and help raise money for local charities.
