Thousands Enjoy Bury BID Food & Drink Festival Weekend
Thousands of visitors headed to Bury town centre over the weekend to enjoy the Bury BID Food & Drink Festival 2026, with three days of fantastic food, live entertainment, Festival Fringe events and family-friendly activities celebrating the very best of Bury’s food and drink scene.
The festival got underway on Friday evening with Beer & Bands, where visitors enjoyed live music, street food, drinks and a fantastic atmosphere in Bank Street as the town centre came alive for the opening night of the festival. Across the town centre, Festival Fringe venues also welcomed visitors with live music and entertainment, helping to kick off a fantastic weekend.
Across Saturday and Sunday, Kay Gardens was transformed with the return of the popular Hong Kong Market, organised by Moliuliu’s Store and Pretty Good Events, bringing an exciting mix of authentic street food, artisan products and cultural experiences to the heart of Bury. Visitors also explored the Festival Market, sampled food and drink from local producers and independent traders, and enjoyed live music throughout the weekend.
The festival also shone a spotlight on Bury’s thriving hospitality sector, with restaurants, cafés, bars and pubs across the town centre taking part in the Festival Fringe, hosting live music and special events that encouraged visitors to explore Bury’s fantastic hospitality offer throughout the weekend.
The Bury BID Food & Drink Festival is about more than great food – it’s about celebrating everything that makes Bury such a fantastic destination to visit. Seeing the town centre filled with people enjoying our businesses, markets, public spaces and entertainment across the weekend was a wonderful reminder of what makes Bury so special.
