About This Position

Here at Bury College, we are seeking a Lecturer in Electrical Installation on a fixed term basis, to deliver excellent and inclusive teaching, learning and assessment on our Electrical Installation courses, inspiring learners to succeed and progress.

Are you passionate about teaching and learning, keen to share your experience, skills, and knowledge of Electrical Installation with others?

Can you be a positive and inspirational role model for learners? If so, Lecturer in Electrical Installation could be the perfect role for you!

You will plan delivery so schemes of work, lesson plans and individual learning plans support learner programmes and undertake ongoing high-quality formative and summative assessment of learners’ work, both in class and through regular out of class activity to monitor progress.

About You

We are looking for someone who holds a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation and has up-to-date knowledge of the current edition of the IET wiring regulations. We would like you to have previous teaching experience on Electrical Installation courses (or teaching practice for NQT’s) to include producing effective schemes of work and lesson plans and be able to integrate high-quality formative assessments into classroom delivery.

A teaching qualification or professional recognition in learning and skills is not essential, however we do ask that you are working towards this.
