Bury Business Improvement District (Bury BID), in collaboration with the Bury Council and Jobcentre Plus is thrilled to announce an upcoming recruitment event aimed at empowering local businesses and fostering community growth.

Scheduled for 10am, 22 May 2024, at The Met, this event serves as a platform for businesses in Bury to connect with a diverse pool of talented individuals actively seeking employment opportunities. By pooling resources and expertise, Bury BID, Bury Council, and Jobcentre Plus aim to streamline the recruitment process and facilitate meaningful connections between employers and jobseekers.

“We are excited to partner with Bury Council and Job Centre Plus to host this event,” said Nigel Shields, Town Centre Director, Bury BID. “As we navigate the evolving landscape of workforce needs, it is essential to provide local businesses with the tools and support they need to thrive. This event exemplifies our commitment to fostering economic development and creating opportunities for both employers and job seekers in our community. We think holding the event at an inspiring venue, such at The Met, will foster a more personal, relaxed, creative and collaborative atmosphere.”

The event will feature networking opportunities and one-on-one sessions aimed at helping businesses identify and recruit top talent. Employers will have the chance to showcase their company culture, job openings, and growth opportunities, while jobseekers can explore a wide range of career options and interact directly with hiring managers.
