Every September, across the country, thousands of museums, galleries, factories, archives, churches open their doors, offering a chance to explore local, history, architecture.
The Derby Hall held one of Joy Division’s most famous gigs with a raucous crowd protesting a change of singers. It was also the democratic home to where many of Bury’s major decisions were made. The Met opens is doors and invites you inside for some behind the scenes access. They will be running hour long building tours throughout the day as well as free family workshops and taster sessions.
