Bring the family and create and decorate a special lantern to join Bury’s Festival of Lights.
You will work with a professional artist who will guide you through the process of creating a lantern from scratch.
Bury’s very own Lantern Parade will take place on Sunday 26 November and all participants will be invited to take part to showcase their creations on the streets, bringing light and joy to the Winter’s night.
The free to attend lantern workshops will take place at The Met with limited places. Families will create lanterns made from willow and paper which will light up the town centre as dusk falls in late November.
