Casewells: A new food, drink and events destination taking shape in Bury
A new chapter is taking shape in Bury’s food, drink and entertainment scene, with Casewells set to create a new destination at the heart of Bury Market.
The new food, drink and events venue will bring together independent food and retail businesses, a central bar and dedicated space for live entertainment and events – creating another reason to visit, meet friends and spend more time in Bury town centre.
New CGI images give a glimpse of how Casewells is expected to look when complete, showing a vibrant space designed to bring food, culture and community together.
Food, drink and entertainment in one place
Casewells will offer a mix of food and drink options alongside a programme of live entertainment and events, creating a destination that can be enjoyed throughout the day and into the evening.
The venue is being developed with Bury’s independent spirit in mind, building on the town’s strong reputation for food, markets and independent businesses.
There will also be opportunities for food businesses to become part of Casewells, with prospective traders already showing strong interest in the new venue.
Building on Bury’s identity
Casewells forms part of the continued investment and regeneration taking place across Bury town centre.
Rather than replacing what makes Bury distinctive, the development aims to build on the town’s existing character and heritage – bringing new experiences and opportunities while remaining connected to the identity of the town.
With Bury Market already attracting visitors from across the borough and beyond, Casewells will add another reason to make a trip into town, whether that’s for a meal, a drink, live entertainment or simply somewhere new to meet and spend time.
The venue will be operated by Midlands Events, who say the response from prospective food traders has been particularly encouraging.
As Casewells takes shape, it will become another part of Bury’s evolving food, drink and leisure offer – adding to the reasons to visit and stay a little longer.
